Can I find out about the quality of the professionals? Are they Board Certified?

For RGB, properly informing clients is a top priority. The medical professionals in RGB's network are certified in their countries of residence, many of which have studied and practiced in other countries including the U.S. Every Doctor stands out as a leader in his/her field and works closely with RGB and its clients to exceed client expectations.

Can I find out about the quality of the treatment facilities?

Our packages include 5-star hotels, unless you wish a customized alternative. Most are part of international hotel chains, and ground transportation is provided by trained personnel allowing for a very safe and excellent service.

Quality Assurance of medical facilities is another one of RGB's highest priorities. In addition to the fact that every facility is overseen by the RGB team, each facility is certified by its government's quality certifications and must adhere to international standards, such as the ISO (International Organization for Standardization). Finally, medical facilities and doctors have customized services for RGB's Clients, thus mitigating language or cultural barriers.

Is the host country's medical technology equal to that of the U.S.?

Technology and equipment are equivalent to international standards, and that of the U.S. Moreover, some professionals and facilities are pioneers in several techniques known around the world. Most are equipped with state of the art medical technology.

Is it safe to travel?

Any travel implies risk. That is why RGB recommends that you follow the recommendations of the Personal Program Manager. In special cases, and upon request, a chaperone may be provided.

Do I need a passport?

In order to travel overseas you need a valid passport. Some countries require a visa or an entry permit; your Personal Program Manager will provide the information.

Are all of my expenses covered? Is it really affordable?

Each RGB Health and Tourism package includes:
Air and ground transportation.
Hotel stay with complimentary breakfast, city tours.
Consultations with doctors, medical treatments and/or surgery at a medical facility, nurse care at the hotel (if prescribed by doctor).
All clients are covered by assistance to travelers insurance.
Each package is customized to meet individual client needs.

In some cases it might be possible to adjust your package during your trip, thus allowing you to add or cancel services or procedures as necessary. With your written authorization, the invoice will then be adjusted accordingly.

Yes, it is affordable for many reasons. First, the tour package hotels, transportation and medical facilities have provided RGB with corporate discounts. Second, the actual costs of medical treatments are low in many countries due to their economies, exchange rates, and low cost of medical malpractice insurance. Ultimately, RGB passes on these savings to you.

What is the best way to carry money when traveling?

The best way to carry money for extra expenses is through the use of traveler's checks. These are accepted at hotels, money transfer agencies (such as Western Union). You can also use debit and credit cards; however, it is recommended that you check with your banking institution at least 10 days before departure to verify that debit or credit cards will be accepted at the cities of your destination. Furthermore, recommend that you verify that you have adequate funds available for traveling. Your Personal Program Manager will provide information about currency and money exchange rates. RGB reminds its clients that because of the devaluation of currency in many countries, many services and products (especially handcrafted), are less expensive than in the U.S. and Europe.

What kind of clothes should I wear?
