Responsibilities

The duties for this position include but are not limited to the following:

  • Oversees all activities of assigned SPSs and is first line supervisor of all
    providers within his/her designated area. Ensures that all services under fee-for-service
    agreements have been delivered and recorded in the FOHS MIS. Provides orientation
    and training in FOHS policies, procedures, and MIS to all new providers. Manages
    outreach services and travel. Ensures that all OHCs are staffed according to COTR’s
    technical direction and that work schedules are modified to meet fluctuating workloads.
    Performs required quality improvement reviews of each assigned site within area, using
    FOHS guidelines (see Policy M.26) and Contractor QA/QI guidelines; Section C.5.6
    May provide relief coverage at OHC on an infrequent basis.

Qualifications
  • Graduation from a National League of Nursing
    (NLN) accredited school of nursing (Diploma, AD, or BSN).
  • RN licensure with CPR and AED certification
    and three (3) years experience in OH or related experience such as public
    health/community health, outpatient clinic, school nursing, or physician office nursing
    and at least one (1) year supervisory experience. Should have CAOHC certification for
    audiometry and have attended a NIOSH approved Spirometry course. Should also be
    proficient in performing, assessing and training in venipuncture competency.
  • Desired Qualifications: Master’s degree in Nursing, Business or Health
    Administration. At least one year experience actively working in an Occupational Health
    Unit.
